My personal experience with Aloe Vera

In my country Kenya a variety of Aloes  grow in the wild. The folks here may not know the scientific names of the different Aloes, but they know which ones have healing properties and how to use them. My first experience with Aloe Vera that I vividly remember was when I was around 10years, on a Christmas day. I seen my  folk mix it in contortions and give it to cows and chickens when they got sick, but had not personally tasted it. In this particular day my stomach went upset following over indulgence the delicacies of the day (especially barbequed meat popular known as Nyama Choma). They fetched an Aloe leave for me made me to drink some Gel from it  squeezed in to my mouth. This is the most bitter thing I had  ever tasted in my life. I could not bear to swallow twice, but you know what,  in few hours I was okay, thanks to the bitter herb.

During pregnancy it is normal for the belly skin to stretch and itch which is quite annoying and it was no different for me. I met this guy who was trying to sell a homemade lotion he had made using Aloe Vera and he insisted I try his product. Well, I always like to encourage people who are trying to do something innovative and I though well let me encourage him by buying one bottle lotion. I wish I bought two because the lotion I turned  to be the big blessing me. Every time I massaged myself with the lotion it soothed my itching made my skin feel and look supple. I never developed any stretch marks from the pregnancy. Unfortunately I lost the contact of the guy and could not find him again to get another bottle. But I am forever grateful to him.
Due to the warm experiences I had with Aloe Vera since childhood it was not difficult for me to decide drinking the Aloe Vera Gel from Forever Living Products especially after checking out that it is approved by the International Aloe Science Council. I take it everyday and I feel great, more energy, better bowel movement, more concentration and believe it or not! Reduced appetite for sugar, carbs and fats which has done a great deal of good to my waistline. I love it! Do not take my word for it try it yourself and feel it. Here is where to get it.

Hey! I must not forget to tell one other experience, a few days ago my four and three quarter year old son had a bad stomach from school. I was not home but the dad had was taking care of him. When I came home I found the boy had vomited everything he ate during the day and had spent the better part of the day wallowing in discomfort. I thought maybe the Aloe Gel in my fridge could help. I remembered my friend had recommended to my another friend whose newborn baby was crying all night from colic, to give the baby just a small amount (1 tea spoon) of Aloe Vera Juice to the baby. The friend reported good news in the morning that the colic was gone and for the first time since her baby delivery she was aby to get some sleep in the night. So I gave my 20 ml of Aloe Vera Gel (the measurement were my own approximation and prescription) and guess what it worked he got well and woke the following morning as active as before.

What I am telling you is my own experience not professional advice. Just things I have found along my way in life and that work for me. Note it may not work in your case like for me but how can you know if you do not try. Try reading and researching about Aloe Vera and see if it will help you decide to use it or not. If you do decide write to me or go here to get it.

Aloe Vera is one of the most potent sources of anti-oxidants, Vitamins E and C and Vitamin B-12 (only known natural source). Recent studies are demonstrating the remarkable benefits of anti-oxidants. Oxidation in cells, can damage DNA, leading sometimes to cancer, other diseases and, to the changes associated with aging. The anti-oxidant compounds counter the aging effects wrought by the free radicals. Patients too have weak health and immune system. Treasure of over 200 nutritional elements in Aloe Vera gives immediate boost to overall health and immune system. People drinking Aloe Vera regularly were shown to suffer less from life threatening diseases and overall live about 10% longer life.

Aloe Vera helps to boost the strength and Immune System by giving it the nutrients it needs. It also cleans the toxins that may build up in the system from the strong medicines given to such patients. The anti oxidants kill free radicals thus prevent further damages to the body.
Aloe Vera activates whites blood cells and promotes growth of non-cancerous cells apparent cancer fighting properties. Helpful chemicals are Lectins, Arginine, Germanium, Beta Carotene. They are powerful anti-turnor agents and immune modulators and were shown to retard the growth of turners (such as S-180 and cancer. The increase the number of T-4 and T-8 T Iymphocytes which destroy microbes and cancer cells.
Trails on AIDS patients showed that fever and night sweats, diarrhea and opportunistic infections (which are usually responsible for the dath of the AIDS patient) were controlled or eliminated in most patients. Clinical toxicity and side-effects were entirely absent. In 1994, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for human testing against the human immune deficiency approved Aloe Vera for the treatment of HIV virus, which is believed to cause AIDS.

Beauty from within

Beauty starts from within your body and shows outside. What you look outside is a reflection of your inside. No matter how much cosmetics on your face if you are not healthy in your body it will show. Caring for just your outside appearance and leaving the inside is like white washing a tomb. A healthy diet, water, exercise, good sleep are key to beauty, in addition to a happy positive altitude.  People say you are what you eat. I find this a little condemning given the nutritional challenge of our modern age. Eating good food has never before been such a challenge as it is in our time. We cannot always get what our body needs from the grocery store anymore thanks to years of agricultural  technology and crop breeding  advances  that have striped out food of vital nutrients. A broccoli today is much poorer  in nutrients than was 20 years ago, being grown in nutrient depleted and polluted soils. We have found ourselves in the age where supplementing the nutrients we get from our food is a wise thing to do.
Finding well prepared and absorbable food supplements remain an important thing when we decide to take our health seriously. I have found FOREVER LIVING PRODUCTS to be one of the best supplements available.  Find them here for yourself too. Read this document to see why you need to do supplementation of nutrients to your body.

What is in your beauty product

In our effort to beauty, we are at time our own undoing. Kinda like what they say ‘shooting oneself on the foot’. Have you ever stopped to ask your self what is in your shampoo? Or your night or day cream? How about that foundation and compact powder you use everyday? Do you know how each of the ingredients affect you? Why is it that we do not seem to care what we expose our body to through the products we use. Here is how I do it; I simply search out available information on the internet about each and every ingredient that is indicated on each product I buy that I don’t  know about. Try doing that today with your foundation or cream and share with me your findings. I am sure you will be surprised at the revelations.

Beauty Dream

Beauty means different things to different people. There as many definitions of beauty as there are people. Some common views on beauty are: harmony with nature, ripe in time, perfection and so forth. The early Greek philosophers such as Pythagoras perceived beauty as symmetry and proportions. Plato saw it as a virtue and good leads to beauty. Latter perceptions held considered beauty as a product of rational order and harmony of proportions.
Another middle age philosopher Francis Hutcheson argued that beauty is ‘unity in variety and variety in unity’. In the modern times there have been views suggesting that human beauty is a combination of both inner and outer qualities? Inner qualities such as politeness, fairness, joy , grace, charisma, integrity, elegancy – I like to call them ‘beheld’s virtues’ and outer qualities which are the physical attributes of human body –I like to call them ‘beholder’s virtues’.
I think beauty has a lot to do with how one perceives oneself. What you see when you look at yourself in the mirror depends largely on standard for beauty set in your subconscious mind which is formed over your life. Every one is a beauty ‘beholder’ and a beauty ‘beheld’. The standard you use to measure what is beauty that you behold on others is a reflection of the standard you behold on yourself. Besides, what you behold in yourself is what you reflect to the outside. That is why I believe beauty is as inside business as it is outside. It emanates from the inside, when the beautiful spirit within manifests to the physical world.
Historically, society has viewed beauty in dualistic way. You are either beautiful or ugly. In most case the media sets the standards of who is beautiful and who is not. The beautiful ones are included (in the movies and magazines), the ugly ones are the rest of them-left out. Worse still is when the standards for beauty become racial. The movie and advertising industry portrays the blonde as the standard for beauty. That being the case many non-blonde persons end up seeing themselves as not measuring up.
How we perceive ourselves inside affect how we feel. Not being in a position to appreciate who we are is the reasons people go to all length to imitate, alter, adjust what the ‘ugly’ in them and adapt the ‘beautiful’ in others. As we know this is multi-billion business and spread all over the world. I believe being beautiful starts by appreciating oneself as a wonder, a miracle and a beauty and by all means a perfect gift from the maker.
It is when we stop wanting to be someone else and you start working on who you are that you set yourself on the beauty trail. . Loving and appreciating oneself enables one to develop as sense of value and identity. You want to take care of yourself as an act of gratefulness to the maker for the gift that is you. Because what you do not value, you destroy and what you value you build and nurture. Nature has provided you with all that you need to be beautiful. Just look inside, there lies the beauty that you dream of.
The essence of this blog is to encourage people to feel and act beautiful naturally, without trying too hard. Just working with what you have and enjoying it all the way. I invite comments and views on beauty to be shared in this blog. Welcome.
